10. Deposits – Security deposits suck.  Even though the wedding is five months away, we’re throwing away $1500-$2000 per month on SECURITY DEPOSITS!  This is truly teh sukcz!

9. Becoming addicted to WE – So even Chip is all about watching Bridezilla, Rich Bride Poor Bride, and My Fair Wedding.  It makes me feel dirty watching that channel.  Like… I’m going to start painting my cat’s nails dirty.  Just… *sigh

8. Trying to find a venue/ceremony site that’s not booked  – It is TRULY amazing how far in advance couples book their wedding date.  We booked ours in AUGUST 2008 for MAY 2009 and it was the only date available until November 2009.  It was only that because they had a cancellation.

7. Dealing with the church – Ugh.  I know they’re not making a ton of money… However, we kicked them $300 so far… I think a phone call or an email reply to a simple question would be absolutely fantastic.  THat is, within a month or so.  I’ve emailed twice in the past month and a half and called four times.  I can’t get a call or email back.

6. Choosing Your Music – For some couples, this may kick ass.  For us, it is not only a pain but absolutely IMPOSSIBLE.  We have no common interests in music whatsoever.  I think his shit is gay and he thinks my shit is gay.

5. Thinking about your Dress – I feel fat.  I’m starving.  I need to get down 4 more sizes.  My dress sizings start in a month and a half.

4. Color Coordinating EVERYTHING – I’m not into shopping for items that are this obscure shade of purple. 

3. Compiling the invitation master list – So… we haven’t talked to people in twenty years… why do I need to invite them to the wedding?

2. Considering hiring a wedding planner – I did that for a few days.  Do you know these clowns want $2000 for just hanging out with you on the day of your wedding?  So depressing.

Worky Work Busy Bee

Lot of shit has gone on recently.

Somewhat made amends with my grandparents. That almost caused me a heart attack, but whatever. It’s for the best.

Deucey passed away on July the 27^th. Tonto the kitten entered our lives two days later not as a replacement but because she was in need. We still love Deucey and miss him dearly. On Saturday, the man’s dad is coming down from Indiana and bringing our other two cats down, Poos and Butters. I’m taking Tonto to the vet on Friday to make sure she’s good to be around the other cats.

We actually have a wedding venue now. Marriott Grand Ballroom. Great food, unlimited drinks, dancing, you know, a NORMAL wedding reception within our budget. We’re elated that the search is finally over. Dad signed off on it, so we’re actually good to go with it.

School started last Monday and the homework is already piling in.  It was total bullshit that I had to buy access to this www.coursecompass.com.  It is a fucking port of Blackboard, which my tutition already pays for.  I spent an additional 100 bucks on CourseCompass fees.  God only fucking knows why my professors like to torture us financially AND mentally. I’m trying to stay on it during the week so I don’t lose my weekends. After all, must have WoW time.

Speaking of, the man and I are both level 67. Our guild is taking us into Kara on Thursday, provided we hit level 68 prior to then. Thank God they removed the Kara attunement. Lol. We won’t have much play time this weekend though, as his Dad is coming down. But, Monday is a holiday, so who knows. Woot for 3 day weekend.

Deuce is doing alright.  He was doing awesome on Saturday with his fluids, meds, and food.  He’s still eating and drinking, but seems very lethargic.  I have a call into the vet, hopefully it gets better.

I’ve dropped some more weight.  This last fill was the money spot!  I eat and feel physically full very quickly.  I almost threw up on Saturday on some “walking taco” because I was eating it far too fast.  I have to slow down and focus yet.  But, working on it.  I can feel the weight melting off… speaking of…

Got a dress for that wedding this weekend and the man HATED it.  So, we went ahead and bought a new one.  *roll eyes*  I ended up getting a black one that’s gathered on the right.  We’re going for a spray tan on Thursday and I’m getting a haircut and a wax.  Up in Minneapolis there is a Star Wars exhibit at the science musuem that the man is pretty excited about seeing.

I can’t wait… not so much to go to the wedding but just to have a nice, long, 4 day weekend.  I took off Monday even though we’re back Sunday just to kind of recoup.  No homework this weekend (YAY!) as I had finals all day yesterday.

We have a meeting tonight with this lady from Premier Catering.  She’s going to take a look at the house and see if we can make it work.

Wedding Website and Work

I’ve been hammering out the wedding website.  I am not linking it as I do not want search engines picking up the wedding site.  Meeting with Judi was yesterday.  It went kind of awkwardly.

My belly is grumbling like a fool!  The band is doing it’s lil job, pathetically, but it’s working as well as it can until the next fill. I have a lot less hunger between meals, which is a very good thing.  Very little snacking going on, aside from cherries or what have you.  We’ll see if we’ve made progress on the scale this Saturday. 

On the Warcraft front, the man and I thought Patch 2.4.3 was supposed to be released yesterday, lowering the mount level to 30, which would’ve been awesome.  No go.  I’m getting really fucking sick of people crying about the mount level being lowered because they had to work so hard to get to 40.  We all did, it is a sentimental cling.  I’m grinding a new main, why should I have to wait?  I’ve earned my stripes at least 6x over.  I participated in this great argument on the WoW forums with some stupid twink saying how it’s going to ruin his PvP.  (Level 39 twink)  Wow… who gives a fuck about some stupid ass twink.  God_Mode_On, right?

I’m finding it very difficult to motivate myself to do actual work.  Lot of shit going on right now.
